The software is a very useful tool to research topics prior to a lesson. I have researched GCSE topics to get some ideas for starters, plenaries and to be able to guide the students towards some appropriate activities.
It is a useful source of reference for teachers who wish to present new vocabulary or grammatical points and saves hours searching through the internet for suitable material. The way topics are grouped together makes it easier for all users to find suitable on-line exercises or relevant material. Topics within the database can be found by clicking on links in the Contents Section, and Websites can be accessed by clicking on the hyperlinks within the document.
Symbols indicate whether the site has audio/video extracts, downloadable worksheets, whether or not the site is designed specifically for foreign learners and how challenging the learner is likely to find it. The website addresses are easy to get to and relevant sections can be accessed to meet specific learning objectives.
